Highly secure ecommerce platform from AT&T provides support and security for multi-channel retailer
LONDON, June 4, 2015 – Marks & Spencer (“M&S”) is constantly improving its online offering with help from AT&T’s* ecommerce services. Since launching its new website last year, M&S is giving its customers a more visual, interactive way to shop online.
“The ecommerce platform and security services from AT&T support our multi-channel offering. AT&T is helping us build a flexible site that gives our customers a better way to shop online with us,” said Richard Presant, M&S Operations Manager.
AT&T is providing hosting and application management services to M&S. These services help M&S enhance its website’s customer experience. They assist M&S in the creation of innovative online features such as its “Style & Living” section; Style & Living is a dedicated style guide with videos and pictures.
M&S customers are loving its website; the company reported 6.6 million customers have registered to the site since it launched in February 2014 at its Q4 trading update in April 2015.
M&S is using security services from AT&T. The security services help to keep customer information and M&S corporate assets more secure. The AT&T Security Event and Threat Analysis service reduces risk and aids M&S in responding quickly to security issues.
“M&S is a distinguished retail brand. Our global reach, hosting and security services are supporting M&S’s online business; this helps to provide their customers with a fulfilling and highly secure online shopping experience,” said AT&T’s Regional Vice President for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, John Vladimir Slamecka.
