AT&T IP Flexible Reach Service (on ADI/PNT) 911 Emergency Service

AT&T IP Flexible Reach Service provides 911/E911 calling capability for certain Calling Plans where the address for the AT&T IP Flexible Reach Site is within the area where AT&T has the ability to provide E911 Service.

911/E911 service using AT&T IP Flexible Reach will not function if Customer or User equipment is not configured correctly or if AT&T IP Flexible Reach service is not functioning for any reason, including, but not limited to, electrical power outage, outage in the data transport service or broadband connection failure, inability to access the Internet from the User’s equipment or failure of originating or terminating access lines.  Customer and Users should always have an alternate means of accessing traditional 911 services at every AT&T Business VoIP Customer Site, including Registered Locations, and that such alternative means should include the ability to access 911 services through the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) where technically feasible.

For further information regarding capabilities and limitations of AT&T IP Flexible Reach service and E911/911 capabilities, see the AT&T Business VoIP Service Guide

AT&T does not warrant or represent that the equipment and software (e.g., IP PBX) reviewed in customer configuration guides will properly operate with AT&T IP Flexible Reach to complete 911/E911 calls; therefore, it is Customer’s responsibility to ensure proper operation with its equipment/software vendor.
