Celestica Recognizes AT&T Global Services Canada With A 2008 Total Cost Of Ownershp Supplier Award
TORONTO, June 16, 2009 - AT&T * today announced that AT&T Global Services Canada has been awarded a 2008Total Cost of Ownership (TCOOTM) Supplier Award from Celestica, a global leader in the delivery of end-to-end product lifecycle solutions. This award recognizes suppliers that support Celestica’s overall supply chain goal - to reduce the total cost of ownership for our customers and give them the flexibility they need to overcome any challenge.
“AT&T Global Services Canada is proud to be recognized by Celestica,” said Steven Taylor, Vice President, Sales, AT&T Global Services Canada. “We are very pleased to once again receive this honour from Celestica, a company with which we have a long-standing relationship, providing best-in-class implementation of AT&T’s leading solutions.”
This marks the third year of Celestica’s TCOO Supplier Awards program. Celestica’s TCOO system is focused on evaluating supplier performance by measuring the total cost to produce, deliver and support products and services beyond the supplier invoice price. As such, it considers the following supplier attributes: quality, delivery, technology, service, pricing and flexibility. More information about the TCOO awards program and the 2008 winners is available at http://www.celestica.com/News/News.aspx?id=2480.
“On behalf of the rest of my team, I want to congratulate AT&T Global Services Canada for being recognized with a 2008 TCOO Supplier Award,” said Harvinder Sembhi, Chief Procurement Officer, Celestica. “AT&T’s ongoing support of our TCOO strategy has helped us strengthen our supply chain, which drives greater value for our customers.”
