Web Conferencing

Web Conferencing Services (WCS) enable agencies to meet, present and interact with information via a Web browser and to share information, documents or applications interactively between remote participants. WCS is typically used in conjunction with an audio and/or video connection. WCS enables agencies to improve productivity and communicate more efficiently by
offering secure, reliable and user-friendly Web conferencing.

Capabilities include:

  • Conference basics – point-to-point, point-to-multipoint, authentication, customized greeting, on-line help
  • Operates with commercially-available browsers
  • Supports dynamic content – AVI, flash, GIF
  • Encrypted conferences
  • File transfer, group Web surfing, polling or voting, text chat, random surveys
  • Streaming audio and video

For large web and audio webcast events, AT&T offers ConferenceCast web conferencing solution.  ConferenceCast provides live or recorded video and/or audio webcast services to an audience of up to 10,000 participants.  The ConferenceCast video and/or audio webcast can be provided in standard format or interactive format which includes synchronized PowerPoint slides, polling, Q&A, 2-way messaging and URL pushes.

AT&T Managed IP Event Conferencing (MIPEC) enables Agencies to conduct large scale (more than 125 participants) conferencing events integrating the capabilities of audio, web and video conferencing with AT&T’s Event Management Services. The service utilizes AT&T Connect, AT&T’s tool for visual presentations, remote collaboration and voice conferencing, but does not require a separate subscription to the service.
