Vice President - Associate General Counsel, Legal, AT&T
Mr. Zinman and his team provide legal advice to several organizations within AT&T Business Solutions. In addition to supporting Internet of Things Solutions and Business Solutions Strategy, Mr. Zinman and his team oversee Global Public Sector sales and contracting activities with state and local governments, including responses to RFPs, contract negotiations and bid protests.
Previously, Mr. Zinman supported the AT&T Mobility organization in Atlanta, including Digital Life Home Security & Automation; Cricket Prepaid Wireless; Mobility Sales and Service Operations; Roaming; Customer Care; Mobility Strategy; and Mobility Customer Experience. Mr. Zinman also worked within the AT&T Federal Regulatory group, representing AT&T before the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and other federal agencies on a variety of communications issues, with a particular focus on Internet Protocol services and broadband technology.
Prior to joining AT&T, Mr. Zinman was the Senior Advisor to the Administrator of the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) at the U.S. Department of Commerce. Before NTIA, Mr. Zinman spent five years at the FCC where he held a range of positions including Counsel to the Chief of the Wireline Competition Bureau and Deputy Chief of the Pricing Policy Division. Earlier in his career, Mr. Zinman served as a staff attorney for Justice Sandra Newman of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania and as an associate at the litigation firm of Margolis Edelstein in Philadelphia.
Mr. Zinman received a B.S. with distinction from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce and a J.D. from Villanova University School of Law.
