Vice President, National Security, AT&T Business Solutions – Global Public Sector
Jill Singer leads Global Public Sector's business activities across the national security community, overseeing the delivery of strategic technology solutions and services to national security agencies across the Federal marketplace. Throughout her thirty plus years of U.S. Federal Government and industry experience, Jill has focused on making certain that her customers had the information, technology, and infrastructure necessary to effectively execute their missions.
Before joining AT&T, Ms. Singer was a partner with Deep Water Point, where she provided federal clients with an exceptional level of support spanning transformation, strategy, leadership, and technology. Previously, she served as chief information officer (CIO) for the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), part of the National Foreign Intelligence Program. In prior roles, Jill was deputy CIO for the Central Intelligence Agency and served in several senior leadership positions within the federal government, including as director of the Diplomatic Telecommunications Service, US Department of State, and as chief of systems engineering, architecture, and planning for the Central Intelligence Agency’s (CIA) global infrastructure organization. She also held industry positions with Science Applications International Corporation, Inc. (SAIC), GE Aerospace, and IBM.
Ms. Singer holds a BS in computer science and an MS in systems analysis from the University of West Florida. She graduated from several leadership programs, including the Federal Executive Leadership Program and the University of Virginia’s (UVA) Executive Leaders Program.
Ms. Singer currently serves as an executive-on-grounds for the UVA McIntire School of Commerce. She is also a member of AFCEA Cyber, the AFCEA board of directors and the Board of Advisors for INSA. Jill has received numerous awards, including being inducted into the Executive Mosaic Wash100 (2016, 2014); CloudNow’s Lifetime Achievement in Information Technology Legacy Award (2013); Top Ten Global Breakaway CIO (2012); Top Ten Women in Cloud (2012); Ten Most Powerful Women in Federal Technology (2011); CIA Mentor of the Year (2010); CIO Executive Council “Ones to Watch” (2010); and CIO Magazine Stand- Out Award for Collaboration and Influence (2010).
