Vice President - Associate General Counsel, Legal, AT&T
Steven DeGeorge manages the legal support to the AT&T sales and contracting activities with federal and international government customers, suppliers and subcontractors. He also oversees related compliance programs.
Mr. DeGeorge has practiced government contracts law for more than 35 years, concentrating principally in the IT and telecommunications areas. His experience in government contracting includes contract proposal and negotiation, subcontracting, IP matters, GSA multiple award schedules, and resolution of bid protests and contract administration disputes. He also has substantial experience in the areas of cyber security, national security, and law enforcement surveillance.
Before joining AT&T, Mr. DeGeorge spent a number of years in private practice, as a bid protest attorney at the Government Accountability Office and as a procurement counsel to the U.S. Senate Committee on Governmental Affairs. He is an active member of the American Bar Association Section of Public Contract Law, and he has been an invited speaker on topics of federal procurement reform and bid protests. Mr. DeGeorge holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from the Catholic University of America and is a law graduate with honors from George Washington University
