This Technical Reference contains the service description and interface specification for AT&T ACCUNET T45 and T45R Services. The service description discusses T45 service options such as M28 multiplexing, Network Protection Capability (NPC), Access Protection Capability (APC), etc. and T45R Services such as CODEC Conversion (CC), Multipoint Bridging (MB), SKYNET Interconnection, etc. Also discussed here are Access arrangements and performance and availability objectives.

The interface specification defines the physical, electrical, transmission, maintenance, and framing characteristics that CPE must conform to for interfacing to the AT&T ACCUNET T45 Service. For example, DS3 jitter requirements, pulse shape, alarm declaration criteria, M13 and C-Bit Frame Format, loopbacks, etc. are defined in detail.
