AT&T Awarded $3 Million Networking Contract From MEDITECH
Web conferencing capability offers expanded online training
BOSTON – AT&T (NYSE: T) today announced it has received a $3 million, three-year networking contract from Medical Information Technology Inc. (MEDITECH) for a wide array of data, voice and Internet Protocol-based services.
MEDITECH is a leading developer, marketer and installer of healthcare information systems, providing doctors, nurses, and health care administrators with cutting-edge clinical, administrative and financial management software.
As part of the agreement, AT&T will provide Web-based conferencing services that enable MEDITECH to offer online training programs to clients in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and South Africa. MEDITECH will use the Web conferencing capabilities to provide regular online training on its software capabilities and help keep customers up-to-date on the latest compliance and regulatory information for the health care industry.
