AT&T Wins Contract With National Leisure Group
BOSTON -- AT&T (NYSE: T) today announced it has won a multimillion dollar contract to provide managed networking services to National Leisure Group Inc. (NLG), one of the nation's largest leisure travel companies. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.
AT&T will provide managed frame relay, private-line and toll-free services to integrate NLG's 23 retail locations across New England and four call centers located in Massachusetts, Virginia and Florida.
The combination of new equipment and AT&T networking services will enable NLG to enhance service for the more than three million consumers each year who call NLG's brands, including Vacation Outlet and CruisesOnly. In addition, by expanding NLG's bandwidth, AT&T will also help reduce NLG's call-related expenses.
"To effectively and efficiently manage our growing call volumes and simultaneously scale services according to spikes in seasonal demand, we require unprecedented flexibility and reliability from our network provider," said Helen Falcone, Director of Technical Services with NLG. "We are very pleased to be working with AT&T to ensure the very best possible experience for our customers."
The AT&T networking solution also provides NLG employees with secure, high-speed access to online proprietary databases and supports NLG's business continuity plan.
AT&T will provide services to NLG through AT&T OneNet® Service, which simplifies purchasing, and managing networking services by consolidating them into a single contract, with discounts across all services.
Through the secure AT&T BusinessDirectÒportal, NLG also gains 24-hour, 7-day-a-week online access to tools that provide real-time reports on network performance and direct access to AT&T's ordering, billing and payment, status, inventory, and trouble management systems.
