Satellite COLT
An NDR satellite COLT (cell on light truck) at the King of Prussia
exercise site on October 16, 2010. This type of COLT is not
dependent on a terrestrial (cabled) connection to the AT&T
network for service. The satellite COLTs are used to set-up
first-in communications after a disaster or to provide humanitarian
relief in areas that do not normally have cellular coverage.
