2010 Q1 — New Orleans, LA
NDR held its first quarter 2010 exercise in New Orleans, LA between March 10 and March 19. The team turned up and tested three new technology trailers, a new power distribution trailer, and a new team rehab trailer. The Special Operations Team (hazmat) held classes and hands-on training sessions at the site. Operations Team members received technology training at the site and first aid/AED training at the team hotel.
Eleven members of NDR's Special Operations Team received certification as Telecom Hazardous Materials Specialists on March 15; seven of those members were presented with their certificates on-site in New Orleans.
