2004 Q1—Seattle, Washington
NDR's first quarter 2004 exercise was held in Seattle, Washington. The exercise began on Friday, February 27 and concluded on Wednesday, March 3. The exercise simulated the recovery of a local 5ESS® office and provided training sessions for technology, fiber and special operations teams. The Seattle exercise included fifty team members, fourteen technology and support trailers, and an Emergency Communications Vehicle.
The team hosted site visits from local and state EMS agencies throughout the exercise and gave presentations during site tours on Monday afternoon, March 1, and on Tuesday, March 2.
