2000 Q3—White Plains, New York

The exercise took place between July 20-26, 2000, in White Plains, New York. The exercise simulated the type of recovery that the team would perform if the White Plains AT&T Central Office was lost or severely impacted by a catastrophic disaster.

One of NDR's Emergency Communications Vehicles
(ECV) at the White Plains exercise. The ECV provides "instant"
communications by establishing a satellite link for voice and
data connectivity. In addition to supporting the team at full
deployments, the ECV can also be deployed independently
for humanitarian and commercial disaster relief applications.
