FMC Corporation Extends Contract with AT&T for Global Networking and Hosting Services

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, August 29, 2007

AT&T Inc. (NYSE: T) has announced that FMC Corporation (NYSE: FMC), a Philadelphia-based multinational chemical company that serves the agricultural, industrial and consumer markets, signed a two-year contract extension for networking and hosting services. AT&T will continue to manage and build network solutions to support 45 FMC facilities in the United States, Canada, Central America and Asia.

A team of AT&T Integration Solutions specialists works closely with FMC to maintain a seamless global network that supports voice, data and Internet Protocol applications. Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) technology provides each FMC location with direct connectivity to all other company locations. At the same time, remote Virtual Private Network (VPN) dial-in capabilities allow FMC employees to connect to the company's global network from off-site locations with increased efficiency and reliability.

Additionally, FMC hosts business applications at two of AT&T's climate controlled Internet Data Centers (IDCs). Each IDC is shielded from intrusion and failure by multilayered security, diversity measures and rapid response recovery measures.
