Driving / Parking
Whether it be the multitude of places you can travel from, or the ever-changing road blocks and occasional motorcades, driving in DC can be complicated. For that reason, we recommend visitors travel from airports via taxi when possible. For those of you familiar with the city, our general location is NW DC, on 21st Street between L and M Streets. There is a small map at the end of this document to give you an overview of our location.
The most convenient parking lot, operated by Interpark, is below our building and accessible from 21st Street. Between L&M street, turn left into the garage (there are two garages right next to each other - turn into the one in Lafayette Center, in the red brick building). Once you take a ticket and pass the attendant, immediately turn left, (there is a sign indicating Lafayette II/Galleria parking.) Once in this section of the garage, there are two sets of elevators - use the set that is for Lafayette II (NOT the Galleria). This set will be against the wall of the garage, not in the center. Take the elevator to the second floor.
In addition, there are several other parking garages near Lafayette Plaza, on 20th Street and on L Street. Parking prices vary.

If you should go out the K street exit, you’ll have to backtrack up Connecticut to L, then walk three blocks to 20th.

Enter the building courtyard under the flags, walk almost to the next street over (21st) street and look for the lobby entrance on the left marked with the address 1133 21st Street, on an oval sign on one of building columns on your left. Ring the bell and a staff member will answer and direct you to your meeting room.
From Farragut West (Blue and Orange Lines)
