Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA)
Washington Reagan National Airport is located just across the Potomac River in Virginia, 5.5 miles from downtown Washington. Average drive time is 20 to 30 minutes but can vary significantly depending on traffic. Recommended transport is via taxi or MetroRail.

Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD)
Dulles Airport is located in Virginia, 26 miles from downtown Washington. Average drive time is 50 to 60 minutes but can vary significantly depending on traffic. Taxi and shuttle services to downtown are available.

Amtrack train service
Amtrak train service into Washington, DC comes into the historic Washington Union Station, located at the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue, NE and North Capitol Street, near the U.S. Capitol. Union Station is 3 miles from the AT&T Innovation Center. It also connects the Amtrak rail service to the commuter MARC trains serving Maryland, the commuter VRE trains serving Virginia, and the MetroRail subway. The MetroRail (subway) system is an inexpensive, convenient means of getting around the Washington metropolitan area. See a map of the MetroRail system. The Metro information
line is (202) 637-7000. See the online site with fares. The closest stops to the Innovation Center are Farragut North (Red Line) and Farragut West (Orange & Blue Lines).
Walking from Metro Station Farragut North (Red Line) to Lafayette Centre
There are three exits from the platform (indicated by red arrows in the detail map) Take the center stairs/escalator to the “L” street exit which will bring you out to the SW Corner of Connecticut and L. From there, turn left on “L” street and walk three blocks to 20th street and turn right.
Walking From Metro Station Farragut West (Blue and Orange Lines) to Lafayette Centre
Exit station via escalator and turn left onto 18th street ("I" street will be on your right). Walk 2 blocks to "L" street and turn left on L Street. Continue walking on "L" street two blocks to 20th street and turn right.
Walking from Lafayette Centre entrance to the Innovation Center
The Innovation Center is in Lafayette Centre, a red brick complex of four buildings marked by a large clock with a red sign. To the left of the clock will be the entrance to a courtyard that runs down the center of the complex. Walk through the courtyard to Building No. 2 and enter the lobby. Check in with the security guard to let them know you are visiting the AT&T Innovation Center. They will direct you to the Center entrance.
Lafayette Centre Parking
Using MetroRail or taxi is recommended but if you need to drive, there is are several parking garages accessible from 21st Street. To park in the garage located in the same building as the AT&T Innovation Center, turn left into the garage next to Gaston Hair Design (about halfway between L & M Streets). The garage is marked by a very large red sign labeled LaFayette Centre Parking.
Once you take a ticket and pass the attendant, turn LEFT at the bottom of the ramp, following the sign to Lafayette II &III parking. Once in this section of the garage, park in any available space that is not marked reserved. Reserved spots are paid for privately by monthly parkers who have the option to have your vehicle towed if you are in their space. There are two sets of elevators - use the set that is for Lafayette II. This set will be against the wall of the garage, not in the center of the parking area. Take the elevator to the Lobby level. Check in with the security guard to let them know you are visiting the AT&T Innovation Center. They will use their pass to allow you to take the elevator from the lobby to the 2nd floor. The Center entrance will be to your right. If you are an external visitor and your company or government agency allows it, bring your parking ticket with you to have it validated.
