The AT&T Direct Registration Facility (DRF) is available to AT&T Remote Access Services and Corporate Internet Dial customers with a usage-based agreement. This includes : Secure IP Dial, Single Fixed IP, VPN Tunneling Service, and Dual Access customers. The Direct Registration Facility tool enables efficient online administration of user IDs, account maintenance and activity report generation.

- Order instantly your user IDs from the Web. More than an ordering tool, DRF can help you manage your dial users community by modifying, moving or deleting user IDs. Multiple user IDs administration is also facilitated by bulk load processes.

- Whether you have one administrator taking care of multiple geographies or multiple administrators, DRF can work with your organization. Cross-authorization is a functionality that allows you to administer users for different countries around the world from one or several countries. With DRF administrative formalities are over! Just complete the form and your billing will reflect your changes automatically.

- DRF is available at no extra charge. Designed to provide increased management control and capabilities, the DRF tool will drastically reduce the time required to implement changes to your account. In addtion, a variety of assistance tools are available to ensure the administrators receive the most from the Direct Registration Facility.

About DRF
The AT&T Direct Registration Facility provides functions that allow efficient management of the day to day requirements for your Remote Access and Corporate Internet Dial Accounts, such as:
- Add user ID: action allowing to add a user or multiple users to an existing account.
- Move user ID: action allowing to move a user or multiple users from one account to another.
- Change user ID: action allowing to update a user or multiple users' attributes.
- Delete user ID: action allowing to discontinue a user or multiple users Query the list of installed user IDs Query the status of previously submitted orders Update default home page.
The AT&T Direct Registration Facility allows you to create a variety of status reports for previously submitted orders and updates to the default home page. Additonal features provided to ensure fast, easy and effecient management include:
- Cross authorisation feature: allows registration of multiple accounts from one country or different countries around the world.
- Secure web access: provides security through identification and authentication using account ID, user ID and password information.
- File upload: allows faster multiple user ID administration, multiple user ID password resets and environment customisation.
- Notification: provides automatic confirmation of all your requests that have been completed by the system.
- Creation of user ID and Passwords: when creating user IDs the security rule of '2-8 character length' passwords which must be unique within an account must be followed. You have the choice between randomly generated, individually specified, or defaulted passwords as well as initially expiring and initially revoked.
- user ID reinstatement: allows user IDs to be reinstated up to 30 of cancellation.
- Assistance for administrators: In case of any problems or questions, assistance tools are available for administrators. These include a detailed user guide, tutorials, feedback functions (i.e. how do I..?) and a help desk.
- Edit Tools: Functions such as cut and paste make it easy to perform repetitive tasks.
The Direct Registration Facility can provide a number of query reports which lists:
- all the orders placed by an administrator or account of administrators during the current month or 2 months previous.
- all the initial passwords for new user IDs during the current month or 2 months previous.
- download the batch/bulk order result file.
- a full list of the installed user IDs for a specific account.
User Requirements
We recommend that a minimum of 2 customer service administrators are familar with the DRF system inorder to maximise the benefits of the tool.
The DRF tools and reports are compatible with following browsers : Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.x, Netscape 4.x or 6.
