AT&T is dedicated to providing our customers the best mobile Internet experience possible. Our goal is to improve wireless reception and speed whether your students, faculty and staff, making it easier to call and text friends and classmates and to utilize smart devices to surf the Web and assist with class work. DAS also ensures greater safety and security for students, staff and visitors by providing better coverage and GPS tracking in case of an emergency.
When installing an AT&T neutral host Distributed Antenna System (DAS) with the right modifications, multiple wireless service providers will be able to utilize the shared infrastructure to improve service.
A DAS consists of many strategically-placed antennas that distribute
AT&T's wireless network coverage on campus, providing for more efficient
management of wireless capacity in heavily-trafficked areas. The
additional capacity helps improve call reliability, increase download speeds
and enable more consistent network access – enabling your students, faculty and
staff to make the most of their AT&T devices.
