AT&T Virtual National Customer Service Center Recognized by InfoWorld As Top-Ten Project
IDG's InfoWorld magazine recently named AT&T's Virtual National Customer Service Center project as a top-10 project for 2007 in this year's InfoWorld 100 awards. The Virtual National Customer Service Center project integrated nine AT&T regional call centers into a nationwide virtual service center. The integration enables collaboration and call-sharing across the company's service territory, allowing agents to share call loads with less-busy centers at any given time, and ensuring the fastest customer service experience possible. AT&T Wins Capacity Magazine's "Best National U.S. Wholesale Provider" Award for Second Consecutive Year
AT&T has further solidified its position as a leading provider of wholesale services, receiving two 2007 Capacity Magazine Global Wholesale Awards including the "Best National U.S. Wholesale Provider" award, for the second year in a row, and the "Best U.S. Metropolitan Provider." This marks the first time that Capacity has given two awards in one year to a single company for provision of services to the market. (November 2007)

AT&T has received the 2007 North American Market Leadership Award in Carrier Ethernet services, presented by the global-growth consulting firm Frost & Sullivan. It is the third straight year that Frost & Sullivan named AT&T as the top provider in the carrier Ethernet space, and this year's award recognizes AT&T's leadership in metro and long-haul Ethernet services. The Government Vertical Market Penetration Leadership Award recognizes the company that has been most effective in bringing a wide range of scalable and technologically advanced communications solutions to federal, state and local government agencies. Frost & Sullivan recognized AT&T's efforts in this sector after conducting an extensive survey of IT and Telecom professionals from U.S. government agencies. AT&T Wholesale Wins Eight Atlantic-ACM Wholesale Metro Carrier Excellence Awards
AT&T Wholesale organization received eight 2007 ATLANTIC-ACM Wholesale Metro Carrier Excellence Awards at the COMPTEL PLUS Fall 2007 Convention & Expo. AT&T Wholesale was voted Best in Class RBOC/ILEC in the following eight wholesale categories: Brand, Network Performance, IP VPN, Local Voice, Transport DSx/OCx, Metro Ethernet, SONET, and Metro Wave. The awards were based on the results of the second annual Metro Carrier Report Card, which evaluates the performance of metro carriers by their wholesale customers and is based on more than 2,800 individual carrier evaluations. AT&T Wins International Stevie Award in Fourth Annual International Business Awards
AT&T Inc. announced its eSales and Service organization was presented with a Stevie Award for "Best Sales Organization" at the 2007 International Business Awards. Additionally, the web portal, AT&T BusinessDirect®, earned an International Certificate of Finalist Recognition for its mobile capabilities. The portal's mobile capabilities allow customers around the world to access select features of the portal from any mobile device, providing "anytime, anywhere" maintenance and performance-monitoring of networks that carry critical data and applications. Gartner defines Leaders as wireless companies that "impact competitors by the choices they make in technology and handset offerings, their focus on the enterprise segment, and their capability to differentiate and be first to market with unique products. The launch of a new handset or technology, recognizing the need for coverage in a specific area or partnering with new application providers must all be done with an enterprise focus." (August 2007)

AT&T's Global Enterprise Business Positioned By Analyst Firm in Leaders Quadrant for Global Network Service Providers
To be positioned in the Leaders Quadrant in Gartner's Magic Quadrant report, network service providers had to have a full portfolio of voice and data products, coupled with above-average service and support, wide global coverage, and competitive pricing. In addition, providers must have a strong vision that includes adopting more information and communication technology (ICT) capabilities, which they articulate clearly and openly. (August 2007)

AT&T Positioned in the Leaders Quadrant in Managed Security Service Provider Magic Quadrant
Developed by Gartner analysts as a guide for enterprises that are evaluating MSSPs, the Magic Quadrant evaluates vendors on their ability to execute and their completeness of vision. According to the Gartner report, the service providers in the Leaders quadrant have significant "mind share" among enterprises looking to buy an MSS from pure-play security services vendors, and they generally receive positive reports on service and performance from Gartner clients. Vendors in the Leaders quadrant are typically appropriate options for enterprises requiring frequent interaction with the MSSP for analyst expertise and advice, portal-based correlation and workflow support, and flexible reporting options. For the purposes of this report, Gartner defines "managed security services" as the "remote management or monitoring of IT security information, assets and processes where the delivery of those services is via remote security operations centers, not through on-site personnel." AT&T Ethernet services received the "Most Innovative Carrier Ethernet Service (Diversified)" Award from New Paradigm Resources Group, Inc. and Penton Media's Telephony magazine. AT&T Recognized for Having One of the Strongest All-Around Suites of VoIP Services
Forrester rated AT&T as one of the strongest performers in a thorough evaluation of enterprise-class Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) service providers in The Forrester Wave SM US Enterprise-Class VoIP Services, Q1 2007 report. One of the earliest providers of a managed WAN-based VoIP offering, AT&T leads all other providers in planned IP telephony and VoIP feature enhancements for 2007. In evaluating AT&T's current offerings and strategy for U.S. enterprise-class VoIP services against over 120 criteria, Forrester concluded that AT&T provides the greatest breadth of managed IP PBX services among competitors. AT&T also scored highest in Forrester's evaluation of SIP Trunking capabilities and hosted VoIP. (February 2007)
