AT&T has set a new world record in customer satisfaction,
according to a report published today by Telemark. Beating off fierce
competition from global rivals, such as Deutsche Telekom, Verizon, Orange
Business Services, Telefónica and last year's victor, BT, AT&T has
successfully raised the bar to become the global data VPN provider deemed most

Magazine's Second Annual Global Wholesale Awards
AT&T received the "Best National U.S. Wholesale Provider" award
from Capacity magazine, as part of the publication's second annual Global
Wholesale Awards. "AT&T won the "Best National U.S. Wholesale
Provider" award based on the reach of the AT&T network, quality and
performance of the network, as well as the company's successful integration
post-AT&T and SBC merger," said Mark Kemp, CEO and editor in chief of

AT&T received the Heavy Reading 2006 Ethernet Service Provider of the Year
- Product Portfolio Award.
The award recognized AT&T as the service provider that offers the
strongest Ethernet services connectivity and applications portfolio. In
selecting AT&T Ethernet Services for the award, Heavy Reading examined
service providers' bandwidth options, performance and breadth of markets
serviced, as well as their demonstrated ability to smoothly migrate customers
