AT&T Enhanced Virtual Private Network Services (EVPN) provides the feature rich capability of a fully managed IP network while providing the security of a private network environment. EVPN is a fully-managed, globally consistent provider-based VPN designed to provide the flexibility of any-to-any communications with the reliability, quality and security of a Multi-protocol Label Switched (MPLS)-based IP-enabled network that is transport and access type independent.
EVPN provides quality of service engineering, service level agreements and worldwide reach and is capable of supporting delay and non-delay sensitive traffic. Voice and multi-media applications are supported through QoS/CoS (Quality of Service/Class of Service). With EVPN customers are able to create a global, application-aware environment with the performance, service reliability, predictability and security that is needed for today's network-based applications.
