Japanese (Native level) , English (Business level)  

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in Japanese including Japanese Polite expressions(Keigo).
  • If the applicant is a non-Japanese native speaker, “Japanese Language Proficiency Test”, Level N1 certificate is required.

Required Qualifications/Skills/Certifications

Basic IT/Networking skill (TCP/IP, WAN, local carrier network, and network devices)


Desired Qualifications/Skills/Certifications

CCNA, CCNP, WAN Network Troubleshooting, Basic Linux knowledge

Required Experience


  • Minumum of 2 year work experience with Corporate customers communicate in Japanese.
  • Be able to work on rotating shifts.
  • Independent, self-driven, highly customer focused and has desire to learn about Network.
  • Hands-on experience in managing WAN networks and Cisco routers.
  • Good understanding of network protocols such as TCP/IP, SNMP and VOIP.
  • A strong team player who seeks a long term career in customer service.
  • An active listener who is warm, friendly and has a good telephone voice.

Desired Experience


  • Degree holder in Electronic or Telecommunications or related discipline.
  • Working experience on Japanese/foreign carriers
  • Strong technical knowledge of telecommunication products and services (eg. Metro Ethernet, Private Leased line, MPLS, Frame Relay, Broadband and ISDN)
  • Call center experience or a minimum of 1 year experience  in corporate customer interfacing.

Job Responsibilities

  • To proactively manage and monitor network performance on customers network round the clock (7x24) to meet customers' Service Level expectations
  • To systematically analyze and diagnose network faults
  • Conduct root cause analysis on network fault
  • To effectively manage service providers and equipment vendors
  • To articulate well with customer's technical and management staff on network issues (eg. Fault reporting, notification and escalation)
