- Digital Private Line connections to the AT&T IP Backbone available at speeds from 56 Kbps - 6 Mbps (NxT1)*. Top speeds rely on NxT1 for added bandwidth by automatically load balancing traffic over multiple T1 links. DS-3 is available.
- Customer Premises Equipment (CPE), standard with AT&T MIS, is robust, rugged, thoroughly reliable, backed by AT&T support.
- CPE Monitoring, Management, and Maintenance, only with AT&T MIS with Managed Router service, has AT&T in management/operational control.
- Packet Filtering, standard feature available only with AT&T MIS with Managed Router service, prevents unauthorized access to your internal network and controls authorized users' access to customer-specified sites.
- Network Newsfeed Service gives you full access to NetNews, a gigantic electronic bulletin board. Create articles or respond to posted articles.
- Network Usage Reports generates summary reports on your network, a valuable tool to monitor and manage bandwidth use and plan for upgrades.
- Multiple Billing Methods offers the choice of Flat Rate Billing for a stated bandwidth and set monthly fee, or Burstable Billing for a full dedicated access circuit, but you only pay for actual sustained bandwidth usage.
- Tele-installation Implementation Support gives you online access to the MIS Implementation Planner and its easy steps for MIS installation and use. An AT&T Provisioning Technical Engineer is available by telephone if needed.

Requirements
The CPE includes the following features and requirements:
- MIS customers with a Channelized T3 MIS Access Port must provide a M28 Multiplexer on their premises, as well as have the T3 provisioned with a M28 at the Central Office.
- All customers are required to supply a dedicated POTS line to be used only for out-of-band testing.
*Not all speeds are available in all areas or via all Access Methods described above.
**CPE is not available for purchase. All equipment is owned by AT&T and can only be used for MIS. CPE must be returned at termination of the service.
***Customers with Integrated Access (T1 SINA or Channelized T3) arrangements who choose to supply their own CSU/DSU or multiplexer are responsible for its management and maintenance.
****This network operation service is not available to those customers electing to provide their own CPE.
*****Customer Care only supports and accepts calls from the customer and does not accept calls, provide assistance, or interface in any manner with parties other than the customer, regardless of whether or not such parties have purchased services from the customer. Customer Care will, however, accept calls from end-customers of resellers who are connected directly to the AT&T IP backbone.
